How Velune Labs collects, uses and protects your personal information.
Scope of this policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Alloon Labs ("Velune Labs", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses and discloses personal information when you visit velunelabs.com (the "Site"), place an order or contact us. By using the Site, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy.
Information we collect
Information you provide to us. When you place an order, we collect your name, shipping and billing address, email address, and the details of your purchase. When you contact us, we collect the contents of your message and any information you choose to include.
Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details are submitted directly to Stripe and are governed by its privacy policy; Velune Labs never receives or stores your full card number.
Information collected automatically. The Site does not use advertising cookies, analytics or tracking pixels, and does not require an account. Our hosting provider may automatically log standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, for security and performance purposes.
How we use your information
We use personal information to process, fulfil and ship your order; to send order confirmations and shipping notifications; to respond to your inquiries; to prevent fraud and protect the security of the Site; and to comply with our legal, tax and accounting obligations. We do not use your personal information for advertising, and we do not send marketing emails.
How we disclose your information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose personal information only to service providers that help us operate our business, and only as needed for them to perform those services: Stripe (payment processing), the U.S. Postal Service (delivery), our email service provider (customer correspondence), Cloudflare (website hosting and security) and Google Fonts (font delivery). We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a sale or transfer of our business.
Data retention
We retain order records for as long as required by tax and accounting regulations, typically seven years. Correspondence that is not associated with an order is deleted after two years.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect personal information, and the Site is served exclusively over encrypted HTTPS connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's privacy
The Site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, including in California under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to receive a copy of it, to have it corrected or deleted, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. Because we do not sell or share personal information, no opt-out is required, and we honor Global Privacy Control signals.
We extend these rights to all of our customers, wherever they live. To submit a request, please email support@velunelabs.com from the address associated with your order. We will verify your identity and respond within 45 days. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
